The summary of this article is about Stephanie Meyer’s enormously popular “Twilight”. The hyper-idealized vampire hero Edward and the adolescent girl Bella had a masochistic love story. It show that adolescent feminine desire as well as how they think eroticism and death. It also positions the series about post feminism within popular culture, and explores how (and, with more difficulty, why) a masochistic relationship and an undead subjectivity for a teenage girl are seen as utopic sites of possibility in these narratives.
 Analysis:
The heroine Bella is definitely a post feminism. In the whole story, she just loved Edward and wished to scarify herself for him. She let Edward to bite herself and let her become a vampire, so that she could live with him together. In the whole story, the heroine seems to be masochistic and their love was not established at the rules of equality. However, in the eyes of post-feminist, this is not discriminating against women. They believe that women should have the right to do the things they want to do, because they have the freedom, such as do everything for their lover. Bella once said: “if you love a person, you will give him the right to hurt you.” Of course, everything is based on whether you are volunteered to do so. 
The other aspect of post feminism is that the heroine fell in love with a vampire. The vampire is regarded as a symbol of death and evil. However, the heroine still fell in love with him and wish to do whatever things for him. That is what post feminism: a woman should have the freedom to do everything she likes, and she should not be criticized or stopped by anyone.
