As I looked on in awe, I knew at that very moment that medicine was going to be my life and that my dedication to becoming a physician was now rock solid. I strongly desire for my life to be considered a successful one. There are many accomplishments that are essential for me to attain so that I may truly be convinced that I achieved this goal. As Stephen Brennan once said, ?Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success." The role of a college education plays a very significant part in this success. Throughout my college experience, my main objective is to pursue an education in the field of medicine that will enable me to become an admirable and dependable physician who will sufficiently be able to bring positive change to the community and the medical profession. In the course of this I hope to grow as individual, gain essential knowledge, and to experience to the fullest what the world has to offer me.

I hope for new doors of opportunity to be opened unto me so that I might indulge in new fields of understanding and better define myself as a person. I desire to enhance my qualities such as leadership and dedication so that I may be readily prepared to ?challenge the present and enrich the future? and overall become a successful person. When the life of another is in my hands I want to be able to do all that is in my power to see to it that they are given a second chance at the game of life. In doing this I could honestly call my life a success. I am very confident that I will achieve this goal because ?nothing stops the man who desires to achieve.

Every obstacle is simply a course to develop his achievement muscle. It's a strengthening of his powers of accomplishment.? I feel that the University of [ ] is very well equipped to provide me with the confidence and knowledge necessary to apply my abilities to real-life situations in which I can touch the lives of others and that I will be able to meet and go beyond the expectations that [ ] has set for me as a student.
