Technology Effect Our Society

随着社会的发展，技术已经深刻的影响到我们的社会。人类的智慧使现代社会在各方面都优于古代社会。我们的生活方式、兴趣爱好和利益往来随着各种技术的发展而变化。我们可以看到我们国家的变化，哪些是由技术所取得的成就。本文主要介绍了三种技术，并分析了这些技术对我们社会的影响，特别是对人们日常生活的影响。

Introduction

With the development of the society, the technology has deeply influenced our society. Human’s intelligence makes the modern society better than the ancient times in various aspects. Our lifestyle, hobbies, and the interests is changing with the development of all kinds of the technology. We can see the variation of our country and the achievements which are produced by the technology. (Dorr, 2196).

In this paper, I will mainly introduce three types of the technology and analyze the impacts of these technologies on our society, especially the people’s daily life.

The communication technology

We can not live in the world without communicating with others. People would touch with other people almost every day. So communication plays an important role in our daily life. Communication technology is closely connected with ordinary people. Communication technology contains the telephone network, mobile internet, the global internet and so on. It has great influence on our society.

On the one side, it makes the world become the information era. People can easily contact with others and get the information. It gives the convenience for people in our society. For example, the establishment of the global telephone network makes people get the connection with each other immediately. In the ancient time, if people want to be touch with others, they might write the letter to send the message to others. It would cost a lot time to get connection with other people. It could waste people’s time. Now, we do not need to get connection with others for so long time. If we want to talk with person who does not near us, we just need to open up the mobile phone and press down the telephone number.

In addition, the establishment of the the global internet provide people the opportunity to find the information right away and send the message by the internet. (Thukuthe, 1-15).

On the other hand, the communication technology has changed our living space and the ways to make friends. It even changes people’s understanding about the distance. For example, the fast communicate compress people’s living space. That is to say, we can know the situation of other place by the communication technology. We can send the information to the website, vice-visa, we can also get others’ information from the internet. The exchange of the information makes people learn about what happened in the world timely. People can use the QQ, We-chat, MSN to make friends instead of being introduced by others. (Thukuthe, 1-15).

Traffic and transportation technology

If we want to go somewhere, we should not ignore the traffic and transportation. The development of the traffic and transportation technology changes the means .Traffic and transportation technology gives people more convenience. That is to say, it short the time of the traffic and transportation. For example, people always choose to go out by train at the beginning because there was no better choice. Time goes by, more and more means of the transportation appears in the society, such as the airplane, the high-speed rail, the metro and so on. People have more choices to choose. We can go for a long distance by plane, which is fast and safe. (William, 2-5).

On the other hand, the development of the transportation technology stimulate the development of the logistics service. We can deliver things by express delivery. For instance, it is a fashion for people to go shopping on line. People can buy the things from the internet, Once people pay the bill, the thing what we want will come no more than five days. This attributes the success to the development of the transportation technology.  (William, 2-5).

Agricultural technology

China is a country with large population, and it is also an agricultural country. There are still many people can not get enough food to eat. So the agricultural technology is closely connected with he quality of the people’s life level.

In the recent time, the agricultural technology has improved a lot. Accordingly, it promotes the quality of the people’s life. For example, the professor Yuan Long Ping cultivate the hybrid of the rice, this agricultural technology promoted the production of the rice. Therefore, plenty of poor people have the chance to eat well. It is a great contribution for the whole society. (Alain, 3).

What’s more, with the development of the agricultural technology. There are many new types of production and green food in our society. It provide more chance for people to choose the food.

In conclusion, The communication technology, Traffic and transportation technology and the agricultural technology all contribute a lot to our society. The rapid expansion of the society can not do without the development of the technology. We should make good use of these technologies and try to get more beneficial from it.
