Why Would Anyone Want to Follow Me

If I become a female leader in the future, the first thing I will do is to create a more participative decision making system. Compared with male leaders, I can be less assertive and aggressive but more willing and patient to listen to others and make good for deficiency. Besides, create this system equals to make every subordinates feel that they are well respected. Therefore, I can organize a more energetic and united team which is more effective and efficient. Then I will create an innovative working environment, which not only means to cultivate the creativity of employee, but also implies to give them the opportunity to try, to challenge or even to fail. Only in that way, people can overcome themselves. Still, I will be passionate about my career and meet all my obligations, because it is more meaningful to set an example to other women that it is possible for a woman to make an achievement in her career.
However, I know that there is much more I need to improve: I should increase confidence and decrease self-doubt so that I will not underestimate my own contributions and abilities and be appreciated by this man dominated world. Moreover, I should accumulate social capital to gain more social resources. It can solidify the foundation of my leadership, and also extend my social circle and improve my social communication skills.
One thing will I do differently in my professional and personal life going forward is to change the methods of expression and polish my personality. Both of them become huge obstacles in many people’s growing process, which are particularly obvious in children. 
When I was a teenager, I seldom communicated with my parents because they were  busy at work. When I felt depressed or upset, there was no one to confide, and then I become increasingly taciturn. However, things get even worse when my mother attempted to understand me for her wrong methods: she read my dairy secretly and went to my teacher without telling me. I was so disappointed and aggrieved that I had a fight with her. After that, we had a long-term cold war----we barely talked with each other. It is because our stubborn personalities, our contradictions tended to deepen. Moreover, without communicating, we could hardly understand what really matters to each other.
Things started to get better when we once sit down calmly and have a sincere communication, through which I recognize how my mother loves me and how much did she care about me; besides my mother acknowledge that except her love, I also need her encouragement  and respect. 
My own growing experiment triggered my introspection: the method of expression is actually like a symbol of personality. Personality impacts people’s perspectives on working: a negative person will always complain about uncomfortable working environment or indifferent colleagues; however, a positive person will try to overcome difficulties and learn from others. Meanwhile, the method of expression also plays a significant role in people’s career. Bad ways of expression may lead to a terrible misunderstanding; nevertheless appropriate ways of expression brings people to cooperate. No matter which career you are going to engage in, and what is your position in the future, an appropriate method of expression and a good characteristic can become the motivation to success.
