  Six Flags St.Louis is run by Six Flags,the largest chains of theme park and amusement park in the world. Its headquarter is in Texas. There is an origin of the name. It is said that there were six kinds of flags flying in Texas during the course of its development,they are British flag, Spanish flag,French flag,The Federal flag,Mexico flag,flag of The Republic of Texas and flag of the United States. The chain was established by Angus•G•Verney in 1961. Six Flags St.Louis is one of the well known theme park and the business was started in 1971. Also, it is the last park that was developed in the name of Six Flags.
  When I was living in China,I was fascinated by many tourist attractions in America,and I had been dreaming of visiting these famous scenic spots,for example,the Disneyland,Six Flags and etc. As I am here now,I determined to realize my dream step by step. Last weekend, I took a short trip to the Six Flags St.Louis. It took us about 2 hours to ride there as I live in a remote area from that place. Another reason why I decided to travel here was that I made a bet with my roommate that I have the courage of experiencing the jet coaster in Six Flags. 
  With the company of my roommate and her friend, we traveled there.When we were driving off from the expressway,screaming voice impinged into our ears from afar. And as soon as I reached there,a grand and high jet coaster erected in front of us.The manufacturer of the Six Flags has adopted a brand new rail system which can ease off the danger caused by the vibration of the wooded rail. What matters most is the special design. Tourists can be protected only from not swaying from left to right greatly,as there is no protective measure against falling off when people are sitting upside down.
  After we entered the gate, we looked at the map which was printed on a board. And above us, the coaster was rolling at a very high speed. The whole if it looks like a train flying on the railway,but the rail is set in the sky.The first second, it was on the first ring,the next second,it was already on another ring. What we saw were just a crowd of people twisting and shuttling along the rail. There are several smaller scale of coasters there,and taking a sight at them, they were just as if shuttling back and forth. At that moment, desire of having a try was becoming stronger. Although mixed mood of exciting and fear was on my mind.I was looking forward to conquer it. Because we bought the ticket on the Internet, we went to the sop straightforward and lined up for our turn. When I saw other people boarding onto the coaster,another feeling,nervous was filled with my mind.I felt that it seems as our last meeting. 
  Finally, it’s my turn to go aboard.I stepped onto it step by step carefully,then fixed myself as much safe as possible. While I sat there and waited for it to shuttle,I was wishing that the rolling had finished already. Shortly after that, it started to move at an increasing speed. We behaved as calm as I could at the beginning,then it reached the top. No sooner had we started to drop than the screaming voice was heard. Then another rising and another dropping. Sometimes,I felt myself was twisting. When the coaster reached the top, we were almost falling down,and that minute was one of the all that most people dare not to take the adventure. It was moving so fast that it certainly could not fall down. And I considered this as the real experience of enjoying life here. Time flies as falling and rising on the coaster,finally, it slowed down and slide smoothly to a steady stop.
When getting off the coaster, I saw my roommate was vomiting because of the upside down,the twisting and the sudden acceleration, nevertheless, I did not realize that I was bleeding resulted from the acrophobia. And her boyfriend was very exciting and delighted as if he would like to try another turn,and some other people were wearing a flushing face. We were immersed in those joyful minutes and calming ourselves down respectively the first second that we didn’t talk with each other. Then several different feelings of this experience was heard.“I make it and I am so great”,said by the one with a happy smile on his face,who was seated in front of me. “when it was twisting,I cannot feel my body on the seat and I was almost being thrown away,that really frightened me”,said another tourist. Another couple said that the real experience was really beyond their expectation. We went to other scenic spots after the heartbeat became normal and got my breath again.
There were throngs of young people there. And I heard other travelers said that it was more convenient for them to come here than having fun in the Disney Land, and the real attraction here lied in the charming of the coaster.Though they did not know each other, they still sent their greetings to one another and smiled politely. People are simple here and they dance and sing with the pace of the rhythm harmoniously. It looks like a harmonious picture. 
Our nervous and fear before getting onto the coaster seems to be unnecessary and tourists should believe that all of them will be well for the guarantee of the leading technology it was used.This is really an unforgettable experience for me abroad, not only have I relaxed myself during the after-class time,but also I have broaden my vision and enjoyed exotic sights. In China,there is a famous saying that he who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true brave man. And that he who has never been to the Six Flags is not a true native can be true of American people, too.
