Iphone 5, Facebook, Skype and Facetime 改变了我们的沟通方式。太阳能、天然气正在改变我们的利用资源，这项技术是不是真的具有革命性呢？技术的发展是必然的，会让我们更健康更便捷的生活。

Iphone 5, Facebook, Skype and Facetime are changing how we communicate, discover and use of solar energy and natural gas are changing what resources we have, but as a matter of fact, this technology is not really all that revolutionary.  The development of technology is inevitable and will lead us to a a more convenient life.
From the book of W.Brian Arthur, The Nature of Technology: What it is and How it Evolves, he thinks technology is a new products or production processes, (such as the early cars), and is used by applications or improvement, and after further applications or improvement to create incremental benefits. The new technology is not just invented out of nothing, the examples I see are from previously existing technology was created by other technologies combinations. In addition, there are other reasons, technology has a recursive nature of the structure, each technology is built on a phenomenon of intelligence, as well as one or several effects from the phenomenon.
Technology evolves from itself. What’s more, it seems that the narrative of the importance of the role of technology within the development agenda has been used to gain government support in terms of public financing of nanotechnology. That means, with the application of technology, people find out it can boost the economic development and different aspects of human life. It can effectively strengthen the communications between different ethnics and countries. The rapid growth of computer, communications, bio-medicine, new materials and other high-tech companies, greatly improved our level of industrial technology, and promote the industrial, agricultural labor productivity greatly which is a strong impetus to the development of the entire national economy. Practice has proved that its high-tech industry has become the leading industry of contemporary economic development. So from human and country perspective, we choose to spend a lot of money on technology.
In addition to these opinions which is easy for me to understand, from Kevin Kelly, I know more about technology. There are two senses of "inevitable" when used with regard to technology.In the first case, an invention merely has to exist once. In that sense, every realizable technology is inevitable because sooner or later some mad tinkerer will cobble together almost anything that can be cobbled together. And since simultaneous invention is the rule, not the exception, any invention that can be invented will be invented more than once. But few will be widely adopted. Most won't work very well. Or more commonly they will work but be unwanted. The second, more substantial sense of "inevitable" demands a level of common acceptance and viability. A technology's use must come to dominate the techniumor at least its corner of the technosphere. It can't be diverted by mere social whims.
Technology is an important topic in today’s world, But everything has two sides. To make use of the technology and avoid the disadvantages of technology os what we need to do since the inevitability of technology.
