A month ago, I chose running as the healthy change that I determined to persevere as a daily workout. The reason that I picked running was because it was an easily-accessible way to accomplish and it will contribute to improve my overall well-being, including physical and psychological. After a month’s persistence, I could obviously detect that I progressively lead a more and healthier way of life, since I started to eat healthfully and spend more time on staying closely contact with the nature. Nevertheless, the expectation of weight-loss does not come out as a magic, my weight stays the same with one-month ago.

In retrospect with the past month, I have been strictly complied with the plan of spending nearly 1 hour in running almost every day, yet there are some exceptions as well due to different reasons, such as unexpected invitation to dinner, travelling to other city or the overwhelming study load. And sometimes I may compress 1 hour plan to 30 minutes if the time is really not abundant, therefore not accomplishing the stretching parts. Or sometimes due to bad weather, I would change running to other kind of work out so that I don’t need to cease the plan. Generally speaking, I have been extremely satisfied with my effort since this was the first time that Iadhere to a work-out plan and I am happy to witness the improvement of my overall well-being. And the reason why I would stay motivated and keep running lies in the following three factors: firstly, I have developed a strong desire of reshaping my figure. Watching those Internet celebrities go to gyms and build an attractive and strong muscle motivates me to learn from them and get rid of the redundant fat. Secondly, the study of health and constant message of health via social media have kept remind me of the importance of health. It not only leads to immediate outcome, but also benefits oneself for a long term. Thirdly, the belief that I would like to change is so strong that I will not easily give up.

In order to better continue the plan, I think I need to overcome three challenges. The first test would be the temptation from drinks and foods. To be honest, I still could not drag myself away from those high calorie and high fat sometimes, especially with the companion with friends. The second one is how to arrange time more reasonable and scientific so that I will not miss the workout time. Thirdly, considering that I may get bored with running-the only way of exercise, I may start to take part in other forms of workout, such as adding strength training, weight training and so on. Meanwhile, I could make more friends and gain rewards through other multi person activity.

After finishing the course, the most crucial thing for me is to adhering to the workout habit. Hopefully, I could make some breakthrough on the speed and endurance in terms of running. Besides, I would like to take part in a marathon program as well. Secondly, I would consider exploring other new and interesting sports program, such as riding, diving and even yoga to fully explore the pleasure of sports. Thirdly, I need to build a more and healthier way of eating habit and a regular daily schedule. In other words, I will take time to study the healthy food and choose those that will contribute to improve my nutrition and body. I will not stay late at night and get up near the noon—breaking the vicious circle.

In conclusion, above is my reflection on running plan. I will definitely stick to improve my fitness plan and ensure a healthy lifestyle.
