Explain the idea of “Organizing” as it is used in the Management Model (the entire management model consists of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling).  In other words, tell what “organizing” means in this context.  Be sure to include the various types of assets that are organized.

The idea of "organizing" means that after the objective setting up, the leader needs to know how to make every department work perfect so that everyone in the company would know what they need to do and each resource can be used fully. And there have six basic elements in the organizing. They are designing jobs, grouping jobs, establishing reporting relationships, distributing authority, coordinating activities, differentiating between positions.

Figure 2.4, on page 47 of the 11th edition of the text, is entitled, “An Integrative Framework of Management Perspectives.”  Explain in your own words how the five perspectives are being integrated.

For me, the integrative framework of management perspectives means these five perspectives are interdependent, the manager has to consider all of them to maintain the effective and efficient management work and achieve their target quickly. Firstly, the manager should realize a broader perspectives which is systems and contingency perspectives to get the big picture, because these two perspectives are working together for the next step. Classical management perspective is to improve the efficiency of planning, organizing and controlling and key for the behavioral management perspective is the comprehension of individual and groups' behavior and the leadership. Quantitative management perspectives is more focus on the techniques and operate efficiently. They all have their own emphasis in the management perspective but the manager need to apply all of them to operate the company successful.

In Chapter 4 and in the videos, the term “unethical behavior” is defined as behavior that does not conform to generally accepted social norms.  In the videos I say that this makes ethics a moving target.  What does this mean to the manager, AND how can you protect yourself and your future employees from making unethical decisions and choices?

For the manager, ethics is a moving target means it is difficult to determine a certain behavior is accepted by the social norms or not, because the boundary between ethical and unethical behavior is blurry, the manager cannot make the judgment by his or her self. If I were the manager, I will get more experience and information about it, discuss it with some professional businessmen and the board of director regularly and write a document about it and update periodically to protect myself and future employees from making unethical decisions and choices.
