关于中国一天的生活~~
A Day in the Life of China
It is known that the poor and the rich can be found everywhere in less developed countries. Although some people cannot earn enough money for daily life, it is still some magnates in these countries. In recent years, China has developed much faster. Moreover, most people are living in a better condition compared with 30 or 40 years ago. However, poor people are still existed in many villages or other remote areas. Hence, many people may argue about this phenomenon will change their mind on American Dream, which is that working hard will change into perfect life. However, it is also found that human’s life will not change although the poor are existed. Thus, people’s American Dream is unchanged.
It is true that the GDP in China has increased much higher in these years, and the GDP ranks at the top of the world. Moreover, the GDP value is over 9,000 billion dollars in 2014(WORLD BANK GROUP, 2015). Moreover, GDP value refers to the economic stability of the country, so the economy in China grows fast, and the income is higher. As the growth of GDP, most relative poor families earn more money than before. As a result, parents can send their children to better school to get a higher education. That is why more Chinese students have chances to study abroad, especially in the US. Otherwise, the employment rate in China these years is nearly stable at 4.0 percent, and the value is lower that other countries, compared with 6.0 in the United Kingdom and 5.8 in the United States (Trading Economy, 2014).
However, as the population in China is much higher than other developed countries, the advantage of low employment rate does not have positive meanings because more population means more opportunity to search job, and Chinese government often introduces policies to inspire people to get suitable work. In other words, Chinese government becomes a vital role to balance the economy, and Chinese government also notices the standard of people’s life to improve the policy. Maybe that is one reason that Chinese economy increases fast during the 21st century. However in 2013 and 2014, the inflation in China became a very serious problem as the life of Chinese people is better. People have more money to purchase more things, such as food, electrical equipment, furniture and so on. As a result, in order to adjust the everyday need, the government had to introduce policies to increase the price of most commodities.
It can be seen that the inflation rate from 2013 to 2014 is over 3.0, and the highest point is over 3.3 in 2013. However, it also shows that the tendency of the inflation rate in 2014 decreases to nearly 1.3 because of the policies of the government (National Bureau of Statistic of China, 2014). As it is mentioned before, the income of China increased in the 21st century. According to Ieconomics (2014), the personal income of China increased from less than 10 thousand in 2014 to more than 25 thousand in 2014. That is a surprised increasing as the income increased over twice in only 10 years. Moreover, the figure will be more in the future. High income means high tax of the government, and the government can use these taxes to upgrade other equipment, such as the advanced medicine equipment, social insurances and better job opportunities.
In addition, according to the World Bank (n.d.), it shows the expenditure in health of China has increased heavily in the last 10 years. The government has noticed that health is important to the whole Chinese, and the government sends many elites to other countries to study advanced health technology every years. Otherwise, the government also improves the social insurance and other policies in order to make people live in a better life. However, compared with developed countries such as the United States, the health expenditure is lower. That is the difference between China which is a less developed country and the United States which is a developed country.
In conclusion, as it is mentioned, although Chinese economy is increasing, the differences among developed countries are really larger. Luckily, the government has improved the standard of the country better and the GDP and personal income are still increasing. Therefore, although the life in China cannot compare with the United States, Chinese people are living in an excellent life, and their life will be better. Thus, even many poor families can be found in America, their health insurance and other advance technology is still much better than any other countries around the world. It is sure that with working hard, the life of people can be advanced, such as living in bigger houses, eating more delicious food, and purchasing higher price things.
