INTRODUCTION
The Assyrian, a branch of the Semite, is located in the north of the Tigris Euphrates valley. The rise and success of Assyria was owned to its strong military affairs with three main reasons. The first one was that the Assyrians had deep military ideas and military quality. As far as the Assyrians were concerned, the word “military affairs” was almost the same word of nation, holding the view that nation was a large machine of war to maintain a large scale of army and take the expansion as the first task. At that time, the Assyrians had cavalry, infantry and sapper, which was leading before many other countries. When fighting against enemies, these armies were arranged properly.
