1. According to the Weberian model, an organization is based on its power to achieve its organizational goals and the power is divided into three types. The first is the rational and legal power, which refers to appointing and giving the power according to laws and a set of hierarchical system. A modern enterprise with the various rules within the organization and the obedience of authority out of the establishment of the hierarchy according to laws is an example of the organization based on the power. The second is the traditional power, which is based on the ancient, traditional and inviolable occupation status of the leader who is in power. The role of the authority is to maintain the tradition and the organization is less efficient. The country of ancient China in the feudal monarchy dynasties is an example of the organization with traditional power. The third is extraordinary power which is completely dependent on the faith for the leaders who must continues to achieve miracles to win followers, and a religious group is such an organization.

Weberian model proceeded from the facts and put forward the theoretical summary of social practice, and the organization theory laying an emphasis on the rules, the system, the laws, the position power and the ability and knowledge of people provided a highly efficient, rational management system for development of modern organizations. Therefore this model can also be a theory of organizational change.

2. Leadership refers to a process of exerting good influence on people or organizations to support them to achieve individual and organizational goals and to develop better. For example, within an organization, management and leadership both aims at achieving goals, but the meaning of leadership is more profound.

The goal of management is Order and Consistency. Management is responsible to keep the work environment in order to ensure sustained high quality output, which is also the goal of leadership. But leadership also aims at Vision and Change, which shall guide the change and innovation in all aspects of an organization. Management attaches importance to the current situation and the organization itself while leadership has to explore the future and look at the entire industry and even observe the world. Management pays much attention to things and leadership more focuses on people. In my opinion, George Patton and Jack Welch are leaders and Elton Musk is a manager. Elton Musk is a founder of three successful enterprises with genius entrepreneurial spirits and unique personal charm and spirits to influence others and Jack Welch is good at updating the enterprise views and taking advantage of new strategies to lead the enterprise (GE) progress, innovate and develop. But George Patton managed the American army with the most severe disciplines.

3. “Change” represents that the modification and improvement aiming at making something better without touch the essence and innate element constitution of the thing while “innovation” is changing the nature of the things to achieve updating and creating something new. “Innovation” involves an covers “change” in the meaning. For example, a manager in an enterprise found there was low efficiency among the employees and decided to issue a series of rules and regulations to stimulate the employees to work better. This is a “change” made by the manager. And the invention of iPhone by Apple belongs to a kind of “innovation”.

4. Scientific Management put forward by F.W. Taylor focuses on science other than experience, emphasizes cooperation other than individualism and replaces the low cost production model with high efficiency production model to stimulate every individual to produce their best work.

Scientific Management has developed production procedures and improved management and created a range of technologies and methods that contribute to increasing the productivity include developing reasonable day workloads, selecting and training first-class workers, implementing standardized operating methods, tools, machines and materials and stimulating wage system to maximize the efficiency of labor and improve factory productivity of industrial organizations.

5. Elton Mayo is the founder of Human Relations School of Management, who has been mostly known for Hawthorne experiment. Elton Mayo established the management theory of human relations through Hawthorne experiment, negating the views of traditional scientific management theory for human assumptions. He indicated that human workers were not passive, isolated individuals and their behavior and efficiency were not only stimulated by wages but also affected by the interpersonal relations and working conditions. Mayo proposed that people were "social people" rather than "economic people" and people have social and psychological needs which are particularly important. Therefore he suggested that the rational organization and management from the social and psychological aspects shall be considered, the conduct of informal organizations and their members shall be correctly guided and the satisfaction of workers shall be improved. Ever since from his work, many management scientists, sociologists and psychologists have paid attention to the research of human behavior and human relations and the theories concerning it have in turn promoted the enterprise managers to focus on human factors and the development of human resources, to improve the interpersonal relationships of enterprises and to achieve the coordination between the needs of the organization and the needs of the employees.
