In the wake of the improvement of living standards of mankind, healthy and brilliant lifestyles have unquestionably come to prevail over the ideas of a vast variety of dwellers living in this current world. Contemporarily, an increasing number of people are suffering from all kinds of diseases, such as high high triglycerides, blood pressure and high blood sugar, etc. More and more human beings begin to rethink what they should eat and spare no effort to balance nutrition which they take daily. Due to the truth that food has a lot of things to do with our health, there is no denying that residents on earth have the tendency to start to focus more on what they are going to eat. Vegetarianism means that people will take vegetarian diets instead of eating anything manufactured from animals. Currently, after knowing the merits that a vegetarian brings, people are more inclined to follow this kind of new diet. As a matter of fact, by getting rid of animal food and choosing to eat vegetables and fruits only, we are able to form a much healthier lifestyle.
People’s views on vegetarianism vary strongly from person to person. Some people hold the idea that vegetarianism can not bring as benefits as experts have unraveled, that is to say, the vegetarianism healthy hype has been overestimated. Katherine who wrote "Veganism Health Hype is Overrated" points out several factors pertinent to vegetarianism that we do not know. He figures out that the nutrients in vegetables are not adequate to meet the daily nutrient need of human beings and vegetarian diets are not really better than any other diets which incorporate some meats in this current world (Katherine, 2014). Therefore, we can see that most of the people who take a vegetarian diet are more likely to obtain deficient nutrients than their counterparts who eat animal food.
However, it is extremely necessary to put in mind that adiposis in a variety of countries, the United States of America in particular, has been more and more severe drawing the public attention. In a couple of fully developed countries, obesity is not uncommon. According to one of the worldwide scholars, namely De Onis Mercedes has recently finds out that the trend of overweight and obesity is extremely prevailing in every part on earth, particularly in developed nations, and the rate of getting obesity in fully-developed countries is a lot higher than that in less developed nations with 11.7% and 6.1% respectively (Mercedes, et al, 2010). That is to say, there are almost 20 residents suffering from adiposis or diagnosed as obesity among every one hundred people in fully-developed nations, which is undoubted to be a serious problem that posts a great threat. Across all age groups ranging from zero year old to eight years old, compared to that of those people who take meat diets, the Body Mass Index of vegetarians was discovered to be a lot lower (Higgins, 1998). Hence, since there are a substantial number of people who are considered to be overweight in this modern world, taking a vegetarian diet can possibly be a feasible and effective way to address this concern that ties into the overarching topic of obesity which has an enormous impact on our health.
In addition, a multitude of people come to advocate vegetarianism, a wide range of whom turn to be a vegetarian with the reason of their religions or their health. It is worthy of mentioning that most people take a vegetarian diets for both reasons, and they reckon that it will kill two birds with one stone. As a matter of fact, being a vegetarianism has a sea of benefits.
Furthermore, vegetarianism helps human beings keep away from a variety diseases. As a matter of fact, people who eat meats will have a higher chance of getting animal-borne diseases, and some of which have not been figured out a way to be cured, therefore, people may suffer greatly as long as they are infected out of sudden. There was report illustrating that approximately twenty percent of cows were carrying bovine immunodeficiency virus which has been verified to cause a very dreadful disease, which is called “cancer” (Vegetarian, 2015). In the last few years, a variety of animal-related diseases are torturing more and more people that may have no idea how they were infected. Nevertheless, people who take a vegetarian diet will not have to worry about it at all in that this group of people never eat cows or other types of animals, hence, it is conspicuous that they are impossible to be infected by the bovine immunodeficiency virus which is carried by cows. In other words, they are immune to this virus to a tremendous extent. People ought to decrease the frequency of eating meat and fish or even eliminate to eat them. Being a vegetarianism will get rid of the disease easily.
When it comes to following a vegetarian diet, people may question whether it offers enough nutrients to meet the daily needs. As a matter of fact, meats contain too many proteins, and some kinds of mean contain much higher protein than a normal people needs to take every day. Some nutritionists has pointed out that a vegetarian diet provides less protein than a meat diet does, however, on the other hand, the protein garnered from vegetables and fruits is entirely adequate for human beings’ daily needs and people will not lack of protein when taking vegetarian diets (Tom & Emery, 2003). It is clear that taking a vegetarian diet, followers will not have to worry about inadequate protein intake or consuming too much protein. In contrast, followers who choose to have a meat diet will have to calculate the protein which they are going to consume daily in order to make sure that they do not take too much protein than they are required to take. Doing this calculation staff must be very boring and most of people are reluctant to do so, hence, taking a vegetarian diet must be the wisest option.
As a matter of fact, people from every part of the world were sparing no effort to live longer, because they wanted to enjoy their lives longer. People have the tendency to chat with each other from time to time in order to learn something about longevity, and therefore, how to have a longevity and how to be healthy has been a popular conversation along the streets and lanes. Actually, eating vegetables and fruits is an excellent way to have a longevity and the life of a person will be expanded to some degrees. According to a journal entitled “How Vegetarianism Relates to Longevity and the Contraction of Animal-Transmitted Diseases, followers of vegetarian diets will live 11/2 to 2 years, and the journal has clarifies that vegetarians are more likely to live longer than those meat eaters, specifically speaking, vegetarians will live about three point six years longer than their animal-eater counterparts. In fact, vegetarians are stronger than predator, people may turn to think that approximately three and a half years will past incredibly fast, however, nobody reckons that their life is too long. As we have known, everyone has the passionate desire to live longer so that he or she will have the ability to eye-witness the development of his or her respective countries, and a large amount of people are trying their best to attempt a series of methods that they have discovered in order to expand their lives, such as doing more sports like yoga, eating a lot of costly nourishment, or even taking a plenty of medicines prescribed by doctors. Having vegetarian diet will be a brilliant way to have a longevity. By eating vegetables, people’s metabolism will be slowed down, which means that the rate of people who are aging is must faster than those whose consume fewer calories. That is why having vegetable and fruits will lengthen people’s lifetime. As time goes by people will find out that vegetarianism would be a life style to their future life. They can not live without vegetables and fruits.
In conclusion, vegetarianism does not mean consuming nutrients that can not meet our daily meets, on the contrary, the nutrient in vegetables is sufficient, but not too much. Therefore, people who think that vegetables have no nutritive value are totally wrong. What is more, people who take a vegetarian diet will suffer less from animal-transmitted diseases and be more likely to have longevity. Getting rid of animal food and deciding to take a vegetarian diet, we are able to develop a much healthier lifestyle in the coming future.
