    今天，我想与大家分享我的“美国梦”，就是“离开”美国和走出去探索世界的其他地方，一个梦想我一直热爱，因为我还是个孩子。

  Today, I’d like to share with you my “American Dream”, that is, to “leave” America and go out to explore the rest of the world, a dream I’ve been passionate about since I was a child.

  WHY? Why I want to see other places in a city as beautiful as Chicago? It is because I strongly believe the world is a diversified place and we should experience different cultures and lives other than our own.
   Far away from here in my hometown China, there is an old saying, “read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles”. That is to say, in order to attain wisdom, we should travel a lot. When we’re fed and clothed well, we naturally feel a higher level of need for exploration. That’s why we need to go out and learn more about the world.
Sometimes you may feel bored and need some fresh air, then going out to other parts of the world is certainly your choice to make. You can walk out, to visit different places, to see different people, to eat different food and learn more about the world in this process. For example, if you have ever been to Africa and have seen their abject poverty and poor sanitary conditions, you may cherish more your current life.
   My mother used to tell me stories before going to bed. In the world she describes, there are chopsticks I never use, dumplings I never eat, the chi-pao I never wear and many other things I even never hear of. At that time, I was always wondering, in other parts of the world, how many things are there that I do not know? Then I decided I want to go to see and experience them in the unknown world.
