Climate change is the result of long-term effects of various factors. Nature has a certain degree of self-regulation, and under the regulation of the feedback of nature, the climate will maintain a stable state. However, climate will be lead to change slowly after gradual accumulation if the result is beyond the natural ability to adjust. After the beginning of the industrial revolution, the climate did not suddenly rise due to the large amount of carbon dioxide emissions. On the contrary, it is a slow process, which shows that the climate can not be changed by a short-term effect. At the same time, the impact of climate change on human is also a long-term effect and a wide range. We all know that now the biggest problem that climate change affects us is the problem of global warming. At present, it is still a controversial question for scientists about the factors that cause global warming. In my opinions, there is no doubt that greenhouse gases have impact on climate warming whether for natural or human factors. What’s more, the impact of greenhouse gases on the environment is long-term, which is because greenhouse gases are persistent in the atmosphere, and even after the emissions of the greenhouse gas are stable, the earth will not be cooled for over a thousand years. For the present climate change, what we can feel clearly is the rising temperature. People in different countries or different regions all feel uncomfortable and unadaptable because of it. In addition, glaciers are melting, sea level has risen, many coastal cities have been flooded; and drought, floods, heat waves are frequent, blizzard and   freezing rain shows a wide range of the potential occurrence; wetlands and lakes has dried up, land desertification, tornadoes, tsunamis and mountain hazards are intensifying, all of which illustrate that the climate change.

As the impact of climate change on human beings is long-term, which will put the home for human to survival and the future of sustainable development into harm, and further, it will hinder the development of human. At the same time, sea level rise or ocean acidification caused by climate change will last for thousands of years, which makes the repair time is very long. In other words, we will need the efforts of several generations or more generations to repair the destruction that the climate and environment have suffered, in order to make the climate to return to the initial status.

In order to “cure” climate change, scientists have put forward their own ideas. Broecker, an oceanographer from Columbia University, is advocating a lofty plan to slow global warming, and he plans to build a giant machine that can absorb carbon dioxide from our atmosphere and then draws the concentrated gas into the deep or turns it into carbon-rich rocks. I think now this idea is too expensive, he also admitted this point, but just as he said, this method is not so difficult as social engineering (Climate Change Emergency Medical Response). However, from now, we have not invented such a machine, so we only can use the "social engineering" to mitigate climate change. As far as I am concerned, the public will have great prospects for reducing emissions. For example, to reduce the use of paper and do not use one-time chopsticks, can save into a lot of forest, and photosynthesis of trees can absorb and cure large amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Another example is to save electricity, which can ease electricity tension and reduce the amount of coal used to generate electricity, so we can reduce the emissions of greenhouse gas. Other examples are to use solar energy, control temperature of air conditioning, use less of cars, all these both to save energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. For scientists, due to the complexity of the climate system, there are uncertainties about climate change projections. It is also possible for theoretical small probability events to occur, and since the influence of some small probability events may be large, in response to this question, the researchers should prepare a plan. At the same time, the adaptation of human activities to the climate itself is also affecting the climate, and the forecasts about climate change need to be revised in time to guide human action. For the government, they should promulgate relevant laws and regulations to reduce carbon emissions, and guide people to live low-carbon life; and to guide the use of less polluting energy sources in power generation, transportation and other industries, also to develop new agricultural methods (Mennonerd). All above methods are mainly to reduce emissions of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, in particular to reduce carbon emissions.

Climate did not change in a day, and its impact on human is constant, when we are affected by it and we want to change this situation, of course, this process is also long-term, but we must strive to do, to return to ourselves a comfortable living environment.
