For the second essay, nationality and cosmopolitanism, it attracts me once I saw this topic. Because it seems that nationality and cosmopolitanism are two different concepts, which are opposite to each other. When it comes to the reading, Mazzini also has the same wonder, in which some people believe in humanity that means cosmopolitanism but he sometimes would like to use the word of nation. Mazzini also believes that people are all cosmopolitanism, and through cosmopolitanism, human could get a lot of things that are important to our lives. However, Mazzini asked us a question, in which it reminds us cosmopolitanism is not enough to help people to flourish. Mazzini admitted that both people who want to be the fans of nationality and cosmopolitanism have the same destiny that is humanity, however, it is very difficult to fulfill some higher levels of achievements without a concept of nationality. In a word, cosmopolitanism is some time not consistent with real beliefs. Mazzini states that, in the past, the concept of nationality is only exist when there was a king who believes it. However, in current days, the concept of nationality and country represents various definitions including governments, family, and unities.
For the last essay, nationalism and nationality, it is very easy to be confused by those similar concepts. However, it is also amazing to find that there are such big differences between nationalism and nationality. First of all, both of these tweo concepts are based on the understanding towards human beings. Then, we need to understand, based on Mazzini’s viewpoint, human beings’ future goal is to achieve an organization of humanity. It is easy to understand that we can hardly fulfill this final goal if we do not have a concept of country because every human needs to be equal, free and alliance. Thus, they must be nations.
Through reading of these three essays from Mazzini, we could have a clear clue of the author’s thoughts. The author was trying to tell us what is necessary for a healthy and complete country or nation to have. Staring from humanity, the author gave reader a sediment when estabilishing a country. Then, the author explained the importance of nation other than cosmopolitanism. He admitted the value of cosmopolitanism, however, the restated why human beings need to have a concept of country or nation even when they already know cosmopolitanism is useful.

Based on Mazzini’s examination, nationalism is a concept, in which a group of people have a geographic or demographic wisdom to be independent. It is rather a cultural thing than a political thing. People have nationalism tend to be more trustful for their culture in the same region, and the might be irrational sometimes when applying this to people from another country. Absolutely, the nationalism is based the concept of natioanl identity, which is different than a related concept of patriotism.
For natonalism, people need be no Alliance. People in nationalism need to be aware that they need mutually trust, they need to be equal, and they need to understand each othe from the bottom of their hearts. When facing problems, people have nationalism should overcome those obstacles together, and they seem to have the same value, the same spirit towards their country or nation. The people who have nationalism, they have to put their efforts together instead of doing effeort separately. They need to have the similar goals for their future. They have to trust their country or nation in the same way.
I believe the meaning of nationalism is not consistent throughout these three essays. The author provided specidic definition of nationalism in the third essay. However, in terms of the first two essays, the autor only talked about huminity and cosmopolitanism. I understand they have relationship with each other, but it cannot be consistent if the author did not talk about nationalism carefully throughout all essays.
Audiences the author might have in mind
I believe the audience the author had in mind when writing these three essays would be various. First, they would be people who doesn’t have a concept of nation. During current society, a lot of people are two selfish, in which they only care about their own happiness. Sometimes, those kind of peole could be seen as cosmopolitanism. They cannot be seen as bad people, because they have love, they respect each other, they are responsible for what they are talking as well as doing, and they have drean for better future. However, all of those wisdom are based on their own lives. The author was willing to use this essay to evoke those audiences to have more awareness of an organization or notions.
Second, I think other audience in the author’s mind when the author write this essay is people who want to know more about notion’s history and characteristics. Maybe these three essays would be great sources for scholars to study more about nation’s history, origins, and future directions. The autor provides various factors towards the concept of nation including humanity, cosmopolitanism, nationism. Those concepts could help audience to have a better understanding about how the country or nation were formulated.
Finally, there are also other potential audience who might be in the author’s mind whe nthe author write these three essays. They are people who are hanging out among nationism, cosmopolitanism, and humatism. Those people’s concepts might be formulated since they were very young, in which they might not have a glace about other phylosophical concepts. Without comparing, those audience could not have a clear understanding about what they really like and what they really fit for. Through reading of those three essays, those audience who are hesitating among huminitism, cosmopolitanisn, and nationism would have a better understanding about the history, origins, and characteristics about their beliefs. Thus, they could do researches by themselves towads those different concepts. And then, they would like to make a decision what kind of phylosophical concpets they really have to be accompany with.

I believe these essays are avaluable for historicans because they reveal the trueth of very definition from a historical perspective. These essays provided useful reseouce from a long priod to current circumstance. Audience could gain valuable information from these three essays, while valuable information is always an important factors that can help to verify if the source is avaluable or not.
For historicans, they could find a longitual clue about nations, humanity, and cosmopolitanism. Based on this important clue, historicans could do specific researches about each concepts. The author stated several creative thoughts that are very useful for historicans to consider.
In terms of limitations of these three essays, there are sevral. For example, the author did not provided enough data or evidence to suppport this statements. Even the author cited a lot thought from historical resources, it is not apparent enough for all people to understand. Sometimes, it is better for an argument article to use data and evidence to support its thoughts. Second, the uathor did not provide enough relationship among those concepts. He actually provided thre separate essays about concepts with nations, however, the author did not explain how those concepts relate to each other. Finally, I thought the author should write these essays in order. It is a little bit chaos for its order. When audience read the essays, especially when researchers who want to gain information through this article, they need to read more efficiently.
