Their employees do not have a fixed workplace. The workplace is where the employee is. In addition, besides electronic communication and email, VeriFone’s employees often have the video-conferencing to meet and work with employees at various locations.
A global mindset plays a crucial and decisive role in implementing such an organizational structure. On the one hand, VeriFone’s structure is a decentralized network. The locations of VeriFone spreads throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Pacific. Different countries have different markets and customers. Nowadays, places and countries in the world are closely contacted. At different locations, they can find distinctive intellectual or capital resources and according to its geographic sites to enable close contact with customers. It need a global mindset to maintain the regular run of VeriFone. On the other hand, thought employees in VeriFone works in the different places, they constantly exchange ideas and views by electronic technology. And VeriFone offers video-conferencing to allow the dispersed group of executives to address important issues face to face and meet and work with employees at various VeriFone locations. Managers should use various ways to make all VeriFone’s employees get together to avoid the separation of department. So managers and employees should keep a global mindset in mind. A global mindset is an indispensable elements to implement such an organizational structure.

2.  Does every employee in every company need a global mindset?
The world is an inter-connected and inter-dependent whole which has significant influence on everyone. The development of a company can not be separated from the development of globalization. Nowadays, economy development has become much fiercer. So in order to keep close steps with the rapid development of economy, every employee in every company need a global mindset. It will brings great benefits to company. 
Why does every employee in every company need a global mindset? The first reason is that it can help employees to develop a strong sense of competition. As we all know, the World Top 100 companies all have their development philosophy and they always make global developing strategy for their company. Keeping pace with the world, employees can gradually develop a strong sense of competition. The second reason is that it can encourage employees to acquire a lot of modern technologies and ideas. By keeping a global mindset and communicating with others, employee will know their shortcomings and start to learn more from others. For example, VeriFone offers video-conferencing for their employees to communicate face to face and address important issue together. Employees will learn a lot from it and then make contribution to company. Last but not least, employees with a global mindset will do favor to the rapid development of company and lead company to keep peace with the world. 
On contrary, without a global mindset, company may not develop to a large scale company. And more seriously it might make the development of company come into a standstill and refuse to make progress. 

All in all, every employee in every company should have a global mindset. The individual development is related closely with the fate of a company. So company can only continue to become better and better by holding a global mindset.
