WHAT ARE THE BEST WAYS TO REDUCE CRIME EFFECTIVELY'     Nowadays, along with the development of all countries all over the world, Viet Nam is developing with a fast pace in different fields like  economy, politics, culture... This brings to a lot of good things. Beside that, there are a number of other relevant problems that Viet Nam is facing. Especially, crime is a big problem which influences on social law and order seriously.So, how to reduce crime' There are many arguable ideas in using the best method to reduce crime such as:attacking the causes of crime such as poverty and lack of educational opportunities, putting more people into prison and having more police on the street . In my opinion, I disagree that  attacking the causes of crime can reduce crime, but I approve with imprisoning more people and increasing the quantity of police on the street.     Many people think that, having more police on the street can’t reduce crime.Simply, the more society develop, the more kind of crime increase . These crimes are in varied forms in many fields such as: economy, politics…In addition, due to the supporting of modern technique, people can do illegal actions more easily. Hence, it’s very difficult to police to detect and supervise them. Morever, it’s not satisfactory in carrying out this way because of financial problem.Government must cost a lot of money in training and paying salary for police.However,I have a different point of view. I myself think that more police with professional equipment on the street can reduce crime effectively. Police can detect and control crime easily without wasting a lot of time thanks to the supporting technique and the combination among police, especially. Also,police can prevent people from acting publicly and confine secrect crime. Really, seeing a lot of police on the street, people can feel scared and give up their publicly illegal plans. From this, I believe that having more police on the street is an important part in reducing crime.     It is said that putting more people into prison have no effect on decreasing crime.To them, criminals are often punished by many different penalties basing on the level of danger they get.In this case, if government imprison all people without paying attention to the level of crime,this will lead to the objection. Whether criminals feel scared and turn over a new leaf, or he will be foxier in their illegal activities. This way-imprisonment- is not sure that criminals will not backslide after being released. Anyway, I disagree with this opinion.I myself sure that more people are imprisoned can make society safer. It means that imprisonment is the best method in punishment system to threaten criminal and others have plan to commit law.On the other hand, the quantity of crime can be reduced due to this strict penalty.Morever, in prison, criminals will have chance to rethink what they did, realize the wrong and right things. This can help them have a good outlook and orient their life after being released.I am sure that , this is a effective way to reduce crime.     Some opinions show that, attacking the causes of crime such as poverty and lack of educational opportunities is the best way to decrease crime.They simply think that the poor often lack of money and facilities to support for their life.Morever, unemployment is a big obstacle .It is said that “Idleness is the source of all evil”.Lacking of all things and having no job to do,they tend to commit law frequently.In addition, commiting law is not avoidable because having no chance to go to school and be educated in good environment..Therefore, solving the problems related to poverty and lack of educational opportunities via some supporting policies such as funding or supplying loans with low interest, giving them stable job,enlarging education can help them improve their life and have knowledge about law and danger of crime.From this,they can be more optimistic and try their best of other abilities to working without thinking of illegal activities.This seems very reasonable.Neverthless,I oppose to this point.I think that, it’s unfair when evaluating nature of people through their living condition and environment.The poor can stand on their own feets.They can strunggle for survival by doing many jobs without being illegal.Morever, it’s impossible to change nature of people through education.    The reality shows that, not only the poor commit law, also many rich and well-educated people are criminals.Phan Van Quyen is an example.He is very successful, richer and richer due to playing football.But he becomes a criminal because of too big ambition.Besides, there are a lot of the well-educated commit crime such as: students commit traffic law, perculation of the people who have high status in our society.It’s clear that the rich and well-educated can be criminals, not only the poor.Even, they commit law more seriously due to modern technique.So, solving the problems related to poverty and lack of educational oppotunities can’t reduce crime effectively.     In conclusion, having more police on the street and imprisoning more people are the best ways to reduce crime effectively. By these ways, I’m sure that crime will be decreased quickly.This can create many positive changes and advantages in protecting social order as well as supporting to the development of VietNam.
