His stories are truly unique in each and every way. The main topics that repeat in all of Poe’s stories are irony, horror, and sadness. Edgar lives a very hard life both his parents were killed as well as his very young life. Poe may have based his stories on experiences that had happened to him. Many of them mirror his life. In his unique writing style he often includes many noises of sounds. These little details of sounds add great effect to the story, providing another dement ion to the mood of the story.
