The word personas comes from the Latin persona, which refers to a mask used by a dramatic actor, so it is easy to associate the external surface of a person. Allport proposed in 1937 that personality traits could be divided into two categories: common traits and individual traits. There are three types of personality traits: primary, central, and secondary. The so-called primary trait is the most typical and generalized trait of a person. The so-called central trait refers to several important traits that constitute the uniqueness of an individual. There are about 5-10 central traits in each person. Secondary traits, which are less important to an individual, tend to emerge only in specific situations.

In recent years, researchers have formed a relatively consistent consensus on the personality description model, and proposed the big five model of personality. Through the method of lexicology, researchers found that there are about five traits that can cover all aspects of personality description.

Neuroticism - measures emotional regulation and emotional instability. Individuals with emotional high scores tend to have psychological pressure, unrealistic thoughts, excessive demands, difficulty in controlling impulses and inadaptive coping responses. While high scores in this area do not indicate a clinical disorder, individuals with clinical syndromes tend to score high on the scale. The positive expression is emotional rationalization, calm, mild temper, satisfaction, and happy getting along with others. The negative performance is self-defense, worry, and worry about whether the individual ADAPTS, which is often prone to emotional fluctuations and generate negative emotions such as anger, self-guilt and disgust, and also prone to irrational thoughts, which is less effective than others under pressure. They are decisive, good friends, lively, humorous, easily excited, exciting, tend to be active, optimistic, negative performance silent, dull. Openness - the active search for and appreciation of the experience itself and the tolerance and exploration of unfamiliar situations. This dimension compares curious, new, unconventional and creative individuals who are interested in something new with those who are conventional, unanalytical and not good at creative thinking. Agreeableness -- the term used to describe an individual's attitude toward others, which includes consideration, compassion, trust, generosity, softness, directness, as well as hostility, cynicism, manipulative, and lack of empathy. The higher the degree of compliance, the higher the degree of affinity.

Diligence and straightforwardness -- responsibility awareness assesses the organization, persistence and motivation of an individual in goal-directed behavior. This subdimension compares reliable, cultured, competent individuals with lazy, nonconforming individuals. It also reflects an individual's degree of self-control and ability to delay gratification. Positive performance for the code of conduct, reliable, capable and responsible. They always seem to be able to get things done and make people feel good about everything. Negative performance is not standard behavior, careless, low efficiency, unreliable. If a person has fewer goals and is more committed to his or her limited goals, he or she will be more diligent and honest.

In the integrative study of Barrick&Mount, sample studies on different job types, job natures and ages showed that the personality of diligence and straightforwardness could be widely used to predict the job performance of people in different positions.
